Hi Greg
I checked the death records for Hocking County. They start in 1867.
1867-1873 there is a Charles Hamblin bookI, pg 28
1887 book II, pg 25, Clesta Hamblin
1892 book II, pg 51 Emmett Hamblin
1892 Book II pg George G. Hamblin
1900 book III pg 77 Sarah Hamblin
1900 book III pg 78 Sarah J. HamblinAny of these records can be ordered brom the Court House Records Dept., 51 East Main St., Logan, Ohio 43138. The cost is $2.00 each.

According to the newly reprinted History of the Hocking Valley, 1883 there is an article on Robert Emmett Hamblin, son of Emmett and Celesta Cook Hamblin. He was the Steward of the Athens Asylum for the Insane twice. There is 1/3 of a page of data on him. There is also another 3 1/2 pages on Robert .

Hope this helps somewhat. Kay Wilson
