A publication of Rev. Dean Bright in 1978 (which I am trying to update and revise) shows George and Fannie (Bowman) Bright moved to an 80 acre farm in Falls Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio in 1836. He (George) remained here until his death on September 6, 1864. He was buried in the family cemetery which is located on the hill across from the home of his son, John G. Bright.

If this is the same GEORGE Bright that you are researching, his father was Peter Bright, Jr., farmer and school teacher, b. 1764 in Bucks Co., Pennsylvania. Exactly when and where is unknown, but he married Susanna in Bucks Co.
Known children were;
1. Peter Bright, II., b. betw 1774-1784
2. George Bright, b. 12 Dec 1784 in Virginia
3. John, b. 1789
4. Isaac
5. Catherine
6. Daniel
