Samuel Rhoads BAER, b 20 Apr 1842 Cumberland Co. PA, d 17 Apr 1921, Gorham, Fulton, OH. His father was Daniel bp PA and his mother's maiden name was Sarah RHODES bp PA according to George Baer, Detroit, MI. Samuel was buried 20 Apr 1921 in Fayette, Fulton, OH.

1920 census, Fayette Village, Fulton, OH, BEAR household:
head, Samuel R., 77, widow, PA PA PA
son, George S., 42, single, OH PA OH, salesman "holesale" ?

Maybe in 1900 but wife not named Elizabeth; Fayette Village, Fulton, OH:
head, Samuel R., 57, b Apr 1843, md 34 yrs, PA PA PA, day laborer
wife, Mary L., 57, b Sep 1842, 5 chn, 5 living, OH PA PA
son, Bert L., 27, b Jun 1872, OH, day laborer
son, George S., 22, b Jun 1877, OH, day laborer

Mary's other 3 children are in the 1880 Wright, Hillsdale, MI census; Cora Bell 13 OH, William H. 10 OH and Florence M. 6 OH.
