Hello. This may not help you at all, but there is a Devault line that moved from Harrison County, Green or Archer Townships, to Wilkesville, Vinton County, Ohio around 1820-25. A certain Lewis Devault married Margaret Strausbaugh. He was born in March 1821 in the area and she was born in 1816 in the same area.
The Strausbaugh family came from near Strausborg, France in 1736. Although they were Catholic, 7 families traveled with many hundreds of "anti-baptists" who fled the area. William Penn was said to help these people to resettle in his colony in America. Email me if you want more detailed info. Anyway, Lewis and Margaret had 6 children that I know of who attended the Prysbeterian (sp) church in Wilkesville, Ohio and are buried in the cemetery there.
John
