Thank you for replying to my request and for the encouragement, Rick. I guess my next step will be a trip to SE Ohio and the county offices in that area. I have some verification through census records as of 1850. Before that it is harder to verify specific persons. As well, I have some family pictures of that early time, including Rebecca Fankboner. I do know of one or two family members who have done work in the past and used their information. I try to prove their work on my own, not just accepting their word. I haven't found any book yet, but haven't written one either yet.

At some point I had thought to make a trip to PA since the family seemed to have started there in the US. Have been able to identify some of them in Lanark, Scotland. Doing the work both here and there. I just have to be patient - realizing it will take time to know all the answers possible.
