Over in Freeport township, there is a Crab Orchard Road that begins at the west side of Freeport village on Route 10, also called Birmingham Road. Turning off of Rt 10 begins Town Road 116 called Crab Orchard Road. Before you have traveled 1/2 mile, you turn immediately south onto town Road 117, which continues to be Crab Orchard Road. After traveling about two miles, you leave Harrison County, but continue Crab Orchard Road into Guernsey County, but once you reach the county line, T117 becomes town Road 91, but is still called Crab Orchard Road and it ends at State Highway 22.

If you can secure "Highway Map of Harrison County Ohio" distributed by the County Engineer, you can follow this road. The Guernsey County engineer's office also issues the same type of map ("Highway Map of Guernsey County Ohio").

On both of these maps, the county is divided into the townships. My maps were printed for 1994. I found a map at the Freeport library which was issued by the Harrison County engineer's office in 1978. On that map I see X's marking two cemeteries. One is immediately off Rt 10 on Township Road 116; the other is about a mile south where Crab Orchard is now called Town Road 117 and is still in Freeport Township.

Since you are looking for the name Crabtree, in Freeport Village is Greenmont Union Cemetery.
Section 8 - Ammie Crabtree
Sectio 10B - Thomas Crabtree and wife, Cora Kent and two children, Roy F. and Harry R.
Section 13 - John P Crabtree and Hazel L. Crabtree

Freeport Methodist Church Cemetery
Rebecca Crabtree, wife of Gabriel Crabtree. It does not say that Gabriel was buried there. If stones are missing or unreadable, then maybe he was.

Those are the only Crabtree burials I see in my books. I have no information on a cemetery or church for Guernsey County on this Road.
