Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Randy my grandmother had a brother named Parks Smythe. He made his living as a painter. He would stencil designs on walls. He lived in Jewett and as far as I know he is buried there. Perhaps my greatgrandmother was an older daughter in the family that your grandfather was born into. Perhaps I have her name spelled wrong. I need to retire so I can spend my time looking this stuff up.
