Thanks, I believe the Allen receiving the land patent was Allen II, the son of the Allen who's will was probated in 1823. Now if I can just conect this Allen to his father! It may be that William and Allen were siblings. If there is any proof of this connection it would be a hugh help. Possibly the will or a death certificate. Sounds like a trip to Harrison Co.
