You don't have to go to Columbus to the Ohio Historical Society to get death certificate. You can print off the death certificates off line for free. www.labs.familysearch.org. Click on record search, then scroll down to the map and click on USA, Canda, Mexico. A list will appear and scroll down to Ohio Deaths 1908-1953. Some times that name won't come up so try the parents, spouse or children's names. Using the parents names brings up children who you had no idea about. I have print off around 150 death certificates and it is all FREE. Don't forget to use the slide bar at the top right to enlarge the document so you can read it.
