1860 census for Asa CHANEY's family
Posted by: Alice Cheney Date: June 04, 2000 at 19:27:48

My great great grandfather Asa CHANEY/CHENEY came to Hancock Co. after his first wife died. Here in 1852 he married a second time and raised several more children, who were younger than my great grandfather William Thomas CHANEY/CHENEY. I don't know their names or if they were born before or after the second marriage.

Can anyone help me with this information? Or tell me where I might find an 1860 census for Hancock Co.? The catch is I need it ASAP because I'm out of time. I'm supposed to have our family tree done for our Cheney reunion, and this branch is just not growing. Thanks.
