That is so sad....wonder what his "story" was. From what little looking I did last night, Butler county, and thus the city of Hamilton, is between Cincinnati (Hamilton county) and Dayton. It is about 2 and half hours away from Bloomington, Indiana.
I tried to access the article in the paper, but you have to be a subscriber to see it. It is about 8:10 a.m. eastern standard time here in MI. I'll pop back in after nine and let you know what happened with the phone call to the (city of) Hamilton police. Could be an entirely, very much alive Bernard VERDIN who was listed, but at least you will be able (maybe) to rule him out. Or maybe the guy listed in the city of Hamilton is a relative of some sort......or a completely different family altogether, but I would kick myself if it WAS him, and all it took was a phone call to figure it out and it wasn't done...more later
Sally
