How would I find out if there was a comb factory on Race Str. in the 1830s to 1840s owned by Peter Cline and left to his wife Christina when he died? Also was there a carriage factory/shop on Race Str. same time frame owned by Dice? Christina first married Peter Cline and had 2 boys Conrad and Peter, after her husband died she married Gottlieb Dice. Supposedly she sold the comb factory her first husband left her and Gottlieb sold the carriage shop and they moved to Laurel, Franklin, Indiana. Christina's maiden name is Shide(born in Germany) and believe her parents died around Hamilton County, Ohio. Trying to confirm old family story. Thanks for your help!!!
