Hi Steve,
In the 1860 census I found a Brashear family in Butler County, Middletown, which is very near Cincy. It has
B.T. Brashear age 48 Hardware merchant
Mary his wife age 43
Sarah 17
James 14
Elizabeth 12
Blanch 10
Charles E 2
In the 1880 census in Cincinnati was Anthony Monsch age 74 from Germany living with his son Anthony age 40-saloon keeper.
This is all I was able to find.
