1850 census springfield, Hamilton, Ohio spells last name Dias. Gottlieb was born abt. 1815 (Poss. Wurrtemburg,) Germany. Christina was born abt. 1825 Baden, Germany. Christina came to U.S. with her parents at 12 yrs and I believe her parents died in Ohio. Christina first married Peter Cline who might have left her a comb factory on Race Str. when he died, 2 boys Conrad and Peter. Christina married Gottlieb abt. 1844 in Ohio and had William, Fancis and Augustus. The family moved to Laurel, Franklin, Indiana abt. 1857 where records show Gottlieb purchased 80 acres. Any information on Gottlieb or Christina and her parents would be extremly helpful. I know records before 1884 for Hamilton County are iffy because of the fires to the courthouse. NOTES: Peter, Conrad and William were civil war soldiers for the union.
