I am working on trying to find the parents of Andrew Paxton Porter born in Guernsey County about 1819. We think his parerts could be Archibald and Polly(Mary)Paxton. Polly was the daughter of Andrew Paxton. Andrew Porter married Mary Jane Cunningham from Washington County, PA. in 1844. Andrew and Mary Jane lived in Ohio, then went to Union County, Iowa. They sold their property there and settled permanently in Mitchell County, Kansas. Need proof that Andrew Paxton Porter's father is Archibald Porter.
