I do not mean to be negative but with the advent of HIPPA, I would venture a guess that you would not be able to find that type of information. On the chance that a former employee might remember that particular individual, I believe this is the only information you might be able to find. Years ago, all information was done on actual paper, then stored in archives either at the facility or moved to other state warehouse areas. Now, it is mostly computerized and probably does not have 1950's information added to the database.
You may need to ask other older relatives if they can remember who your dad might have visited there.
