What I know......
Isaac Hager Clark/Clarke b/about 1849 m/Susan-Sarah SMALLWOOD 19 Ded 1869 in Fauquier Co., VA.
The Fauquier marriage books shows that Isaac was b/in Guernsey Co., Ohio; the son of John and Mary CLARKE.
In LDS I found a John b/a/1820 in OHio & Mary b/a/1822 in Ohio. This listing is for Senecaville, Guernsey Co. with Childern: Permelia b/1842; Hannah b/1844, Sarah b/1846 & Isaac b/1849.
In the 1860 census of Gurnesey Co., there is an Isaac 67 b/VA (b/a/1793 & Jane 69 b/VA. Have no proof that my Isaac is a gs/kin to this elder Isaac.
With Isaac, parents, & sibs b/Ohio; why did he come to Fauquier to marry in 1869?
Any assistance appreciated.
Audrey
