The IGI gives William G. Waller's 1831 marriage to Mary Ann Adams, but most Waller files I've seen say he married Mary Ann Nelson. Can someone give me information on which is correct? Was Adams a first husband for Mary Ann? Where does the name Nelson come from?

I'm interested in Adams in Guernsey--because there is a marriage 1834 between John Culver and Elizabeth Adams. There is also a deed Feb. 1834 in which a Mary Ann Adams sells about 45 of her 80 acres in Spencer Twp. to William G. Waller. John Culver was one of the witnesses. Was this the same M. A. Adams b. PA. ca. 1776 who was in the 1850 household of Jacob Dennis who married Susannah Adams in Guernsey? They named their oldest son Liston--and John Culver named his son, born 1842, Liston as well. There is also a Liston Waller in one of these families. Is the name Liston an Adams connection?
