John Culver, who lived in Spencer Twp from before 1820 until his death in 1865, was my 3rd great grandfather. Every other researcher of this family has the mother of most of his children as Mary Moor whom he married in Guernsey 26 Sept 1820. However, there is also a marriage in Guernsey, 6 Feb 1834, between John Culver and Elizabeth Adams. Given the birth patterns of his children, I am almost certain that this John Culver was my ggggf and that Elizabeth Adams was his second wife and mother of most of his children--including my great grandfather, Liston B. Culver.

Has anyone information on Adams families in Guernsey ca. 1830? So far I have found very little!
