Geraldine, This is from the OHS Death Certificate Index. He is the only William Gibson from Guernesy County in the late 30s. The same goes for Mary Gibson. The OHS was the formal guardian of the Death Certs until 1938 when the State of Ohio formally took over the function. If they are not your people, let me know and I'll check the state index for later years.
