Checked the 1850 census (book) and found no Jesse Coles or any other Coles. Found several Cole, but no Jesse. Could he have been living with someone else? I have 1850 on disk if you know the township he was in. Also, the genealogical society has marriage records as well as the courthouse since you have the date. Will help if I can.
