Enoch GALLAWAY/GALLOWAY/GALAWAY/GALOWAY is in the 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870 Guernsey Co. Census. In 1830 in Oxford Twp. and in Millwood Twp. in the others. One person or maybe two Enoch - I don't know. I want to know where Enoch was born and when. There was an Enoch in the 1810 Washington Co. PA Census b. ca 1764. Did he move to Guernsey Co.? Any info re: this surname in Guernsey Co. might help me find David GALLOWAY b. ca 1767 (where? PA or England), d. 1816 Columbiana Co. OH ancestors. Maybe Enoch & David were brother and Enoch moved two counties south of Columbiana Co. to Guernsey Co. Can you tell I'm up against a brick wall? I need to find David's ancestors.
