William Moreland in Ross Twp., 1830
Posted by: JANICE B. PATTERSON (ID *****2490) Date: February 17, 2012 at 09:00:14

Seeking details about William Moreland/Moorland who appears briefly in Greene Co. histories as having arrived from KY about 1805 and was part of the "Covenanters" settling Cedarville.

Where was he in KY before moving to Ohio? Was he born in VA?
Who did he marry? Who were his children?

I am wondering if he was the same William Moreland who settled later in Hancock Co., OH, and from there went to Cass Co., Michigan.
