I am descended from a Robert Watkins born 1754 in Maryland. He moved just prior to 1779 to South Carolina. In 1790 census shows 3 children in household under 16 and a wife plus himself. In Ohio, probably widowed he married an Elizabeth Elliot in 1809. By 1810 they are residing in Indiana territory. She is the daughter of Jacob Elliot and Elizabeth Beason. Wondering why the records shown indicate Kent Co Del. and Kent Co Maryland at the same time...mistake ?????
