In 1930 Howard and Ethel are living with Sylvia and her new husband in Toledo, Lucas, OH. The family consisted of:
head, Alvin PETEE, 48, first md 40, MI MI MI, janitor-school
wife, Sylvia, 36, 28, OH OH OH
s/son, Howard ULMER, 12, OH OH OH
mil, Ethel CLAY, 73, widow, OH OH OH

William CLAY died 29 May 1929 in Fulton County. I don't know what happened to William/August ULMER.

Alvin/Lewis may have been a s/o Noah and Sarah PETEE. The 1900 census shows them in Blissfield, Lenawee, MI:
head, Noah, 55, b Nov 1844, md 28 yr, OH MI MI, farmer
wife, Sarah, 46, b May 1854, 11 chn, 8 living, OH OH OH
son, Burt P., 25, b Jul 1874, widow, OH
son, Lewis A., 19, b Jan 1881, MI
dau, Lulu A., 15, b Feb 1885, MI
dau, Elzina A., 12, b Oct 1887, MI
son, Charles B., 10, b Oct 1889, MI
dau, Gertrude C., 6, b Nov 1893, MI

Per the 1880 Blissfield, Lenawee, MI census, Sarah's other children were Mary J. b ca 1872, Ida b ca 1876 and Stella A. b ca 1879. Burt P. was Paul B. in that census.
