My gg grandmother was Catharine Snyder, daughter of David and Susan (King) Snyder. She was married to Andrew Henry in Richland County in 1864. They raised their daughters Almarinda and Matrona in Gorham Twp, Fulton County, OH. David Snyder was born in 1808 in Pennsylvania. He was living in Richland County in 1860. David had other children Leah, who married Joseph Whitmore (lived in Fulton County); Mary Ann, who married Abraham Gish (lived in Williams County); Susan, who married Jackson McDonald and later William Page (lived in Fulton County); Louisa Jane, who married Hiram Tingley (lived in Fulton County); Benjamin F (There is a Benjamin F buried in Fulton County; don't know if they are the same man.), and Isabelle. Susan King Snyder had died, before 1860, as Louisa, Ben, and Isabelle's mother looks to be Eliza Hunt, according to the 1860 Richland Census. The 1850 Morrow County lists Abraham and Elizabeth Snyder who had children Jacob, Carnus (?), Christina, Mary, Barbara, and Levi (maybe others. Levi married Susan Ruhl. They had three children: Ella, Charles H and Burgett A. In 1870 Abraham and Levi were living next door to each other in Gorham Twp, Fulton Co, OH. These are my Richland County - Fulton County Snyder's. Do you recognize any of this. I know from looking at Fulton County census' that there was more than one Snyder "clan". I just haven't puzzled out who belongs to whom. Thanks for responding.... LK Jump
