I found William N. Harley in the 1880 census on Family Search online. He was 15 years old living with his parents Christian Harley, age 38 born in Pennsylvania, father and mother born in Hess.(Germany). Mother was Sophia age 35 born in Hess. both parents born in Hess. Christian's mother Catharine Harley age 69 is listed, born in Hess. as were her parents, Also listed is Adam Miller, GrandFather to Christian, age 83 born Hess. occupation was Butcher.
Census from Butler, Butler, Pennsylvania, T9-1109 page 524A.
William was listed in 1900 census as a Boarder, single, living in Ohio. I do not know this person, just found info on internet. Carol Scior
