Deceased Name: Sidney Marie Hutchison
HUTCHISON Sidney Marie Hutchison, age 105, died Saturday, February 17, 2001, at Friendship Village of Dublin Health Center. Born May 11, 1895 in Bristol, Ohio to George and Matilda Soegaard. Sidney and Dencil Lee Hutchison were married July 3, 1920, and were residents of Perry County for more than 75 years. Dick was a blacksmith and home builder. Sidney was a founding member of the First Church of God in New Lexington, Ohio. Dick died in December, 1978 and in 1984 Sidney moved to Columbus. She is survived by her son, Dr. Jack Hutchison and his wife, Betty Jo; five grandchildren, Lee Hutchison and wife, Laurel, Jo Wayman and husband, Gene, Kris Beaver, Dena Pyle and husband, Stan, Jeff Hutchison and wife, Kim; nine great-grandchildren, Jessica and Jody Hutchison, Kara Wayman, Bryan, Chad and Karli Beaver, Kristina Pyle, Jacob and Kelly Hutchison. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2001 at Meadow Park Church of God, 2425 Bethel Rd., Columbus. Reverend James R. Cook and Reverend Robert I. Mathis officiating. Friends may call at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2001 and Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. at the church. Interment at New Lexington Cemetery on Thursday morning. Memorial gifts may be given to Meadow Park Church of God, or the First Church of God in New Lexington, Ohio.
