Hi,

I looked in the Ohio Civil War Soldiers book at the Ohio Historical Society last weekend.

Two TOLIVERS appeared.

I am going by memory now so I apologize... I will look for what I wrote down at home later.

The first Toliver...CHARLES TOLIVER was not Caucasion as he was in a "Colored Division". I believe it said he entered in 1865.

The other TOLIVER ... BARNETT was his first name..entered in 1862 if memory serves me...and was then transfered to another division. He appeared to be Caucasion.

Again...I will get the exact info..but just wanted to post this now to let you know someone had looked into your request.
