The many friends of Mrs. Dr. Culy will be pained to learn of her death from pneumonia, Friday Jan. 30. Funeral Sunday at her late home on main street. Burial at Fairview Cemetery Dr. Culy is quite ill at this writing, and the death of his life companion was a terrible blow to him.

Culey.

Mrs. Elizabeth Culey, wife of Dr. David Culey, died Friday morning at her home in Jeffersonville, after an illness of two or three weeks from pneumonia. Her husband, Dr. David Culey, has been seriously ill from uraemic poisoning for some time and is now in a critical condition. Mrs. Culey was aged seventy –five years, and besides her husband leaves four children, Alfred Culey, and Mrs. Ollie Divens, of Good Hope; Mrs. Lola Davis and Mrs. Maggie Wilcox, of Jeffersonville. Dr. and Mrs. Culey have long been well known residents of the county. They have lived in Jeffersonville since 1881, removing there from Good Hope.

The deceased was born in Indiana December 28, 1827, and was married there April 5, 1846, to Dr. Culey. They resided in Warren county for several years, afterward removing to Waynesville and later to Good Hope. They were both untied with the Baptist Church in 1860 and have always... ??scratch in film??.

The funeral services were held at the residence Sunday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
