About the Accompanying Exhibits CDs

The following are testimonials from Paul descendants who have read the book:

“Thanks once again, and congratulations to both you and Shari on a marvelous job of research as well as a terrific book that I personally will treasure for the rest of my life. You and Shari have done a wonderful service for the ancestors of John Siers the elder as well as his grandson John, Jr.” “…when I discuss your book with others I always make it a point to emphasize the incredible amount of meticulous research that you did. I can tell you with all honesty that I have never seen a book of this nature researched so well. Kudos to you both, I know that is rarely an easy task.” From Ken S.

“I am in the chapter of Sarah about half way through and I cannot believe all of the information that you two have provided; how you two have read and separated out information and put this family together! It is amazing and to have the history included of the times, country side, other surrounding facts is wonderful. The amount of work and the amount of travel involved and the microfilm readings and the old books that has made this so interesting is unbelievable BUT so much appreciated.” From Mary G.

“I received your book yesterday afternoon. I am having so much fun reading and researching through all of the information. It is a beautiful work, well written...love the documentation and appreciate your thoughts and conclusions.” From Sandy B.

“So far I have only read the Daniel Paul and Isaac Paul sections since they were of the most interest to me. I plan to read the whole book by this weekend. So far I really think the writing shows you have been very thorough and have considered every possibility in reaching your conclusions.” From Nancy K.

“I got my book yesterday and I just love it, y'all did such a wonderful job on it, thank you thank you, I am very proud to be able to pass it down to the next generation of the Pauls. Anyway I just wanted to write to you and thank you for the wonderful book.” From Larry P.

“I got your book and am blown away with how much work and research went into it. Both of you have obviously invested a lot of time and energy into this project and it is a job well done. It is a wonderful addition to my personal library. Thank you so much for sharing it with everyone.” From David S.

“Even though I am not directly descended from the Pauls, and only through marriage, I am impressed with your book. Being a retired history professor, I especially enjoyed the history included in each chapter. And the bonus CDs are amazing. Everything a genealogist or descendant could ask for at their fingertips. Well done!” From Virgil N.

“Once I began reading the book I was not able to put it down. It has clearly been well researched. I was very impressed with the numerous footnotes backing up the research and the authors’ conclusions. The two bonus CDs were just that. It would take anyone many years and a lot of money to locate and obtain all of the copies included in the CDs. The book was well constructed and well written. I was impressed with the fact that it wasn’t just a collection of names and dates. It was fascinating to read about the lives of the Pauls and to learn so much more about the times they lived in. The book is worth every penny and is truly a treasure and a wonderful addition to my personal collection. I would highly recommend it to anyone.” From Roger G.
