Hello,

I am looking for an ancestor of mine that lived in the Fairfield area for some time. From what I can tell, James Mcglochlin was born between 1804-1808 and died sometime around 1870. He married Sarah Mcgowan/Mcgowen. Some records state that he was born in PA while others state OH. The earliest I can find him is in the 1850 census living in Fairfield County, then again in the 1860's in Fairfield Co, by 1870 he had moved to Pickaway county. I know that he lived both in Violet township as well as Pickerington. Family records state that he and Sarah were married in Ohio, I believe in Fairfield county on 9 Feb 1828. Family lore also states that he was born in Ross county. I am not sure how accurate that this is as I have seen it listed that he was born in PA. In any case, any additional information that anyone might be able to provide would be extremely helpful. I am looking for his parents as well as siblings. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Christopher Pinard
