Tom - Thank you for the look-up and the response. I greatly appreciate your time and assistance. The information provided is just what I was looking for, now to determine IF this Ann Angelett Troxel, wife of Henry, died Oct 27, 1857, aged 33Y9M17D. is the mother of the person I am related to: namely Henry Boyd Troxel's daughter - one Julia Rebecca Troxel, b. in approx. 1850. This has long been a brick wall for my research.
Some of the obvious questions this information generates in my mind are:
Is this Ann Angelett Troxel, mother of Julia Rebecca Troxel.
What was Ann Angelett Troxel's maiden name?
Where was she born?
When did she marry Henry Troxel? and where?
Which Henry Troxel was she married to?
If she was married to Henry Troxel in Ohio, where can I find a record of their marriage?
Is there a record anywhere for the birth of Julia Rebecca Troxel, or perhaps a baptismal record, and who are the named parents and the date?
Was there any kind of will or probate record associated with the death of Ann Angelett Troxel, and if she was in fact the mother of Julia R. Trozel (a minor), who was given guardianship of the minor child? and Was this person Henry Boyd Troxel who lived in Good Hope Township in Hocking County?
Would there be a probate record or Court record indicating the disposition of the guardianship of any children born to Ann Angelett Troxel? And was Julia Rebecca Troxel named as her child?
If there was a will or probate record, was it recorded in Fairfield Ccounty or Hocking County?
Why is she buried in Fairfield County, if she was married to Henry Troxel who lived in Hocking County? - one obvious answer is that the distance is not far from the county lines of both counties, and it appears to be a family cemetery. OR it could be that they lived together as husband and wife between the times of the 1850 and 1860 census records, and perhaps actually lived in Fairfield County?
So, if ANYONE is interested in helping me pursue these questions, I would be gratefully indebted to you. OR, perhaps, someone else has a suggestion as to how I can go about finding out the answers to some of these questions, since I live so far away from Fairfield County Ohio.
Thanks again, Tom. You've been a big help.
