Township of Radnor...Churches with Birth Info-1843

My greatgrandfather William Henry Evans was born (from what I've been told) in Radnor, Delaware County, Ohio - April 1843. We don't know who his parents were, but in the 1850 census was living with Rowland and Jane Rees in Radnor. By the 1860 census he had taken the last name of Rees. So I checked the 1840 Radnor census and found that were 3 Evans families living there: Head of households:
1) Richard Evans 2) John Evans 3) Edward Evans. If I were a guessing person (which I am), I would think perhaps he was born into the John Evans family, because according to the 1840 census there were 3 children under age of 5 and 2 other children between ages of 5 & 15. Anyway, are there any churches in Radnor that have any birth information? Oh, and for anyone that will tell me that maybe William Henry was just a visitor at R & J Rees family, there was a "family story" that William Henry's parents died on a ship from Wales and that a Rees family took him in. Of course, that doesn't match up with his supposed birth in Ohio, but if I could find his birth record in Ohio, then that "story" would be put to rest and I could find out who his biological parents are. Thanks for whatever info you can give me. Debra
