Many of us continuously look for info on Beverly. He was in the WAR of 1812 in Va. We now know he was married 3 times. 1st wife unknown but his children were George, Nancy & Rebecca Hogan. Rebecca's guardianship was given to Wm. Johnson in June 1842 In Va. Was Rebecca born of the first marriage? Nancy was born in 1827. Was Rebecca born before her?
Agnes Tyler dau. of James Tyler married Beverly Hogan Oct. 1828 In Va. Maybe Rebecca Hogan was from this 2nd marriage and didn't want to leave Va. She was probably at least 14 years old if she was from the first marriage. Beverly & Agnes left Va. for Oh. by 1840. Beverly & Agnes were already in Pickaway Co. Ohio for the 1840 census.

New info: In 1850 in Delaware Co. Ohio Agnes is found living with her son John W. Hogan right beside the man William Stanforth whom she supposedly ran off with from Beverly in Pickaway Co. Ohio (stated in Beverly's divorce papers). Now this makes yet another child of Beverly's to track down. I could not find Agnes in 1860 but I did in 1870. Here John W. is gone and she has a grandson named George F. Hogan living with her, still beside the Stanforths. Who are the Stanforths? They came from Virginia also and lived beside Agnes & Beverly in Pickaway Co. Ohio too.

I think maybe I found Agnes & Beverly's grandson George. In 1900 Delaware Co. Ohio George age 39, wife Susie age 35 & 3 kids Amey b. 1888 , Lela b. 1890, & Ralph b. 1900.

We may be able to trace this family to present day if we can find Ralph Hogan in a census.

Can you find the marriage of George F. Hogan to Susie ?? from 1878 to 1888?

Can you find the death for John W. Hogan in perhaps Delaware Co. Ohio after 1861?

Can you find the death of Agnes Ann Hogan in Delaware Co. Ohio after 1880?
