Hi -
Some years ago I received a package of info on the Morse family that moved to Snohomish, from a David Morse. He provided data on the descendents of Horace and Anna, but never mentioned the brother, Charles. Thank you for that connection.
I have considerable data on the Thackers. If it's of use: John B. Thacker was one of many children of William Thacker, who was one of many children of Townsend Thacker (who moved his family from NY State to Clermont Co, OH, and is buried in the Goshen Cemetery), who was one of many children of Stephen and Zulima (Townsend) Thacker, of Conn. and NY State. Prior origins unknown at this time, however as far as we know there is NO connection with the many 'Southern' Thackers of Virginia, West VA, etc.
One of the sons of John B. by his second marriage, Frank B. Thacker (bn. Defiance), was in Snohomish by 1900; possibly he followed his sister Anna there.
- Brian Thacker
