Doreen, is Kible/Kibble a variation of the surnames you are looking for? There is a James Kible (48) on the 1860
Richland Twp., Fountain Co., Indiana census. He was born in Kentucky and moved through Ohio on his way to Indiana.

Nope, from what I've seen it may have been Kibby back in England, but I haven't been able to verify that yet...all of the ones I've traced so far have been KIBBE. I think some of the cousins or uncles were in OH, I just don't know where yet. Some of my GAUT line was in OH thinking some KIBBE's might be there too. Thanks for looking. Doreen
