I checked at http://index.rbhayes.org/hayes/index/ This obituary index covers most of northwest Ohio. I didn't see James or Joseph Kitchel listed, but that doesn't mean there isn't an obit. He could have gotten missed.

Tried to search for Arthur Cooksey in Cook Co, IL in 1900,1910,1920,1930 and didn't find him. What was the spelling? Guess I need more information to help. Do you know when Lannie & Arthur were born and where?

I did find a Joseph & Mary Ketchel in Defiance Co, OH in 1900. Is this your Ketchel/Kitchel? Says he was born in Michigan abt 1852.

Will put your Joseph Kitchel on my list of lookups when I make my next trip to Defiance.
