I have just discovered a few generations that lived in Defiance Co., and was wondering if you could offer any information? James Marquis Battershell (1787-1878) was first to move there w/ wife Sarah (originally from Germany), and had 7 children, including Henry Battershell (1817-1886), w/ wife Rebecca Wartenbee (1825-1898). All were burried in Lost Creek cemetary. Henry & Rebecca had a daughter Melissa May Battershell (1867-1935; my g.grandmother), who did not die there. I would be EXTREMELY grateful for any info or sources you could suggest.
