Looking for info on family of Joseph C Cady Jr, (Kady, Kedy or Cody). In 1860 census, he was in Greenville Darke Co, OH. In the 1850 census he was in Lemon, Butler Co, OH. Prior to that he was in Franklin, Warren Co, OH back to before 1820. He paid taxes on horses and cattle and did not own land, except 5 acres in Franklin he purchased with J. Bradley. Possibly, he was involved as a teamster in Franklin and moved to Greenville, Darke Co. In 1860 several of his son’s had also moved to Crosby, , OH. (David Cady) and Hamilton Co (Hester Cady, Johnson Cady)
Joseph C Cady Sr (176x-1821) was in Mill Creek, Hamilton Co, OH with his wife Lucinda Cady (1767-1856) and brother David Cady (176x-1821). The family likely came to Ohio from Wayne Co, PA and CT.
