Sarah B. Colville married John W, Patten on Dec. 26. 1833. Her parents were Joseph Colville dec. 1835 in Darke Co., Ohio and Elizabeth Vivian dec. after 1850. They were married Nov. 15, 1743 in Shenandoah, Va.

John Patten was born in 1813.

Sarah and John's children were: James D. Patten, Joseph Patten, Richard Patten, William T. Patten, George N. Patten, Anna Maria Patten, Martha C. Patten,and Malinda J. Patten.

Sarah's parents Joseph and Elizabeth had 10 children: James G., Mary, John, Margaret,Nancy, Charles V., Sarah, Harriet, Samuel, and William H.
