I think Daniel’s father (my gggrandfather) was Lewis Ludwick Christian (1774-1831) from Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania but cannot find the proof needed to make the true connection. Ludwick married a Mary Layer/Leasure/Leazure after moving to Montgomery County, Ohio from Pennsylvania in about 1800. I have seen a sketch written about David Christian(Daniel's brother?), Ludwick’s son but it does not mention any other children. The family moved from Montgomery County to Darke County, Ohio and settle there. Ludwick is buried in the Christian Cemetary along with his wife Mary and daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Daniel's wife).
I am also trying to verify the father of Ludwick. I have seen so other people list either Ludowick or Gideon as his father but no one can produce the proof.
Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated,
