Frank Warren married Iva Beal(Bell) Caupp Nov.28, 1908 in Darke County. Her parents were Daniel Caupp and Louisa Beal married Oct. 23, 1873 in Darke County. They were parents of 13 Union City Times-Gazette, Tuesday, June 2, 1942 Darke county native dies. Following an illness of several months, Lemuel S. Caupp, 68, native and lifelong resident of Darke county, O., Jackson township community, died Tuesday at 2 p. m. in the Wayne hospital, Greenville. He had been admitted to the hospital 10 days earlier. Mr. Caupp was born in Darke county on July 13, 1874, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Caupp. He was united in marriage with Miss Anna Crist on February 16, 1902. He had been a lifelong resident and farmer northeast of Union City. Mr. Caupp was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren. Surviving besides the widow, Anna, are six children, Everett Caupp, of Greenville; Roy E. Caupp, near Union City; Mrs. Sylvan Scott, east of Union City; George H. Caupp, of Salamonia; Mrs. Harold Frazier, of Union City, and Charles Caupp, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Thomas, of Greenville; Mrs. Milo (Flora) Peters, of Dayton, O.; Mrs. Frank (Iva) Warren, of Greenville and Mrs. William (Mabel) Parks, of Union City; five brothers, William Caupp of Muncie and Union City; Earl Caupp, of Salamonia; Ira and Daniel Caupp, both of Union City, and nine grandchildren. Dave E. Caupp, another brother, is deceased. (March 20, 1942) Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p. m. (EWT) in the Pleasant Valley church, northeast of Union City. Burial will be in the Brethren cemetery, north of Union City. The body will be returned from the Brooks funeral home in Union City to the residence where friends may call after this evening. [An obituary published June 15th stated that he was the oldest of 13 children born to Daniel and Louisa (Beal) Caupp. He spent his entire life near Cosmos . Only six children were born of his marriage and all survived him. Two brothers and a sister died in infancy.
