Hello! I also have been searching for years for anyone who may have attended that Greenville County Home for children in the early 1940's. My mother, Julia Ann Smith,was there at that time and is also searching for long lost childhood friends. There MUST still be someone out there who remembers it--or her--who could tell me more about it??? On a different note, I have relatives with the Kircher last name in the Ohio (Dayton) area so I'll ask my mother what she knows about that..Interesting!
