Henry and Sarah "Sallie Sanderson,were
my Gr. Aunt and Uncle.
Henry was born abt. 1854,
in Perry County, Ohio, to
Jacob and Elizabeth Heck Sanderson.
Henry married Sarah "Sallie" Mesnard,
in Fairfield Co. Ohio in 1877.(Fairfield Co.
is located next to Perry Co.)
. The 1900 census shows Henry and
Sallie Sanderson both 46,living in Darke County, Ohio with children Alonzo, "lonzo", 23: Henry 20,
Homer W 17 and Sarah W. 7.
Henry was the son of Jacob Sanderson B abt 1815 and Elizabeth B 1823, Heck Sanderson.
Elizabeth Hecks parents were Henry
and Margaret Shafer/Shaffer Heck.
Henry Sandersons father died around the same
time he was born, he had a Brother named William
who moved to Paulding County, Ohio.
The widowed Mother of William and Henry Sanderson
Elizabeth Heck Sanderson Married Jacob Siniff/Sinft. They had my
Grandfather James Milton Sinift in 1865.
My Father Herbert Sinift was
born in 1918 in Perry Co., Ohio, to James
Sinift and Mary Catharine Musser Sinift and
moved to Detroit when he was orphaned at 12.
Does anyone know of this Sanderson family.
They were in Darke County in the early 1900s
for sure and probably some family is still
there.
