Jan,
My grandfather was John Anton Stepancik born in Slovika. He was a woodsman. My grandmother was a Carolyn Cocure (sic). Grandfather had one brother who remained in Slovika but his name I do not know.

Grandfather had three sons (John, Joseph, and my dad, Jim) and one daughter (Ludmilla). All were born her in the US in the first decade of the Twentith Century.

My grandparents first lived in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania and then moved to Cleveland, Ohio.

I am an only son. Joe had 4 children (Joe who is deceased, Carolyn Kurlic, Dale, and Linda Tritt of Akron, Ohio. Dale and Carolyn live in Marietta, Georgia. John had one daughter, LeeAnn Bole who lives in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Ludmilla never married and is living in Cleveland, Ohio.

It is my understanding the village my grandfather was from no longer exists having been consumed by a water resivor, but this I am unable to confirm.

With regards,

Jim
