I have an encyclopedia of Cleve history, but it has little on Cooley Farms. It says that it used to be the City Infirmary, but at the turn of the century, it changed names and setup. As a place for the poor, infirm, insane and aged, it was like a small village and there was a seperate building for old married couples so they could still live together. It became a national model.
