Rockport is now, I believe, parts of Lakewood and Rocky River Ohio. You can check these two cities for historical data. You can also try the Case Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland. The Bureau of Vital Statistics in Cleveland might also have info, since birth and death records form Rockport would have been posted there. Also check with the Bureau of Vital Statistic for Cuyahoga County, Cleveland.
