Does anyone have info on flannel factories in Cleveland in the 1870-1880 time period? A family story tells of my GGGrandmother working there after her husband dies. She develops a lung issue from the dust, dies, and leaves orphaned daughter. Also, what orphanage might a child of about 10 yrs be sent to? 1880 census they lived on Cliff St, mother dies abot 1882. Any help on this would be great.
