Well you just maybe want to look in the joining states for any of the families.Since the time period your talking about was during the despession area.The best bet see if any families went west for work like in Califorina,Michigan,Pennsylvania and other states.I mean this how I would look if I knew some of the families members.Sorry if this anwser comes to late but just was giving you idea where to look if that helps this late in the years since your posting.
